Crispy Ho Salmon
Two servings
Ingredients:
- 12 oz salmon, cut into two 6 oz fillets
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 1½ tablespoons tamari
-
2 tablespoons Crispy Ho
For serving:
- Green peas
- Steamed rice
Directions:
- Pat the salmon dry and season both sides evenly with the salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, coconut aminos, tamari, and Crispy Ho. Set aside.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the olive oil and swirl to coat the pan.
- Carefully place the salmon in the hot pan. Be mindful of any oil splatter. Cover with a lid and cook for about 1½ minutes.
- Remove the lid, flip the salmon, cover again, and cook for another 1½ minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your preferred doneness.
- Turn off the heat. Pour the Crispy Ho sauce mixture over the salmon. It should immediately begin to sizzle and glaze the fish.
- Let the salmon sit in the hot pan with the sauce for about 1 minute, spooning some of the glaze over the top.
-
Remove from the stove and serve with green peas and steamed rice. Spoon any extra Crispy Ho glaze from the pan over the salmon before serving.
